Established in April 2007, Solid Grounds CoffeeHouse has become a favorite hangout for coffee connoisseurs and Internet users alike. Solid Grounds is very active in the community and sponsors many local charity events. We are proud members of the Northville Central Business Association and Chamber of Commerce.

With art deco and ethnic flair, Solid Grounds CoffeeHouse cleverly bends post modern and vintage styles to create a comfortable spot that welcomes everyone. Come, relax, and stay a while at Solid Grounds.

Owner Teresa Berent opened Solid Grounds CoffeeHouse in 2007. She loved coffeehouses; with their eclectic mix of people, the uplifting aroma of fresh coffee beans, and the comfortable surroundings. Teresa found a lease on a totally gutted out unit in historic downtown Northville. The build out was planned and constructed from scratch with the help of a good friend and interior designer, Rebecca LaFehr. The place has their own special vibe. 

Teresa left her white collar career to run the cafe full time. Every person that walks through the door is treated like family. Word spread, and soon Solid Grounds was one of Northville's most popular places to visit. Come and see what everyone is talking about.
